Autism

 

Autism is characterized as varying degrees of difficulties with social interaction, nonverbal and verbal communication and repetitive behavior.  Autism can be associated with intellectual disability, difficulty with attention and motor coordination.  Individuals can also struggle with gastrointestinal issues and sleep problems.  Some individuals with autism exceed in math, art and music.
