Deafness/Hard of Hearing

 

According to the Early Hearing Detection and Intervention Program 300 babies are born each year with a hearing loss.  A child will have the best chance to learn when a hearing loss is found early.  Early identification and intervention promote optimal functioning and reduce health care, special education, and other services.
