VA Family Discusses Importance of ACA Protections

This week, The Arc of the United States released a video featuring a family from Fairfax, Virginia, that illustrates how Congress’ proposed changes to the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and Medicaid would negatively impact Americans with disabilities and their families. The video features an interview with Toby, Lindsay, and Calvin, who has Bilateral Fronto-Parietal Polymicrogyria and Cerebral Palsy and relies on multiple insurance plans to cover his medical and therapeutic treatments. The video follows another one released by The Arc last week, which featured nine people who rely on the ACA and/or Medicaid who shared messages for Members of Congress and the Trump Administration.
